Because I have been getting questions about my mailing address here in Burkina and whether it is going to change now that I am a volunteer, I wanted to let you know that it is the same, but with "PCV" after my name instead of "PCT."

Hello Emma. Congrats on starting at post. My name is Ben Wixson and I'm a current volunteer in Cameroon. I found your blog through the peace corps journals site. You can read my blog which I haven't updated in 6 months at bwix.wordspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I'm writing is that I will be soon finishing two years in Cameroon as a community health worker and myself and three friends will be travelling overland across west africa. We plan to be coming across BF in late to mid december, coming from Niger going up to Mopti in Mali. I read you are in the North east of the country which doesn't seem to be on the route we are taking. But what we are really looking for is any info you can give us. What do we really need to visit? Any advice on travelling across? Any PCVs who would really like visitors.
